Dr. Alexandra Yazdani’s Story
Dr. Alexandra Yazdani is proud continue the legacy of Yazdani Dental, founded by her father. Growing up around dentistry, Dr. Yazdani developed an early appreciation for the importance of compassionate, high-quality dental care, and the lasting relationships built with patients over time.
Education
Born and raised in Aurora, Dr. Yazdani graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science, Honours Degree in 2018. Following in her father’s footsteps, she went on earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating in 2023, she went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. During this one-year program, she furthered her education in implants, root canal treatment, surgical procedures, and complex prosthetic rehabilitation cases. After completing her residency, she joined a large private practice in the Atlanta area to further her knowledge and skills.
A Patient-Centered Approach
Dr. Yazdani officially moved back to the Toronto area in December 2025. As a second-generation dentist, Dr. Yazdani takes pride in serving the community her family has cared for over the years, while bringing a fresh perspective and a commitment to excellence. She is committed to providing comprehensive, personalized treatment in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She combines modern dental techniques with the values that have defined Yazdani Dental for generations—integrity, trust, and a genuine focus on patient well-being.
Professional Affiliations
To ensure her patients receive the best possible care, Dr. Yazdani is committed to continually advancing her knowledge through continuing education. She is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Aurora Dental Study Club. She is also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the American National Dental Honour society, which recognizes dental students and faculty for exceptional scholarship, character, and potential for future professional growth. This honour is awarded to students who graduate in the top 10% of their dental school class.
Life Beyond Dentistry
Outside of the office, Dr. Yazdani enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new recipes, and watching her favorite TV shows. She loves to travel, and enjoys visiting friends located all over the world.
